It's a "Brees"

I'm sure most of you are beginning to wonder, "How many famous athletes is Kelly going to meet?!" Well, I'm adding to my total because today I met Drew Brees! Yes, the MVP of the Super Bowl, the quarterback for the champion New Orleans Saints!
The signing event was held at the Edgewater Mall in Biloxi, and there were Saints fans everywhere, the Who Dat Nation was out in full force.

There were hundreds of people and time was very limited but I was fortunate to get a quick picture with Drew.

I got him to sign "The Times-Picayune" Super Bowl edition. It was a fun experience and I was very happy to meet the Super Bowl MVP!

I think he was a little overwhelmed, not much time to talk to Drew and he was like an autograph signing machine. Hardly looking up to say "hi." But I think any experience fails in comparison to my "Tebow Experience." I had high expectations after the Tebow encounter, I was thinking that Drew Brees would, like Tim, also remember me, my name, and have a full conversation with me on multiple occasions, but of course the "Brees Experience" didn't live up to all that hype!

Also....Some how I have forgotten to mention that I also met Garrett Hartley. The kicker for the Saints, the one who kicked the winning field goal against the Vickings to send the Saints to the Super Bowl. I met him at the beginning of March. He was very friendly and we made a few jokes about his funny dance moves at the Saints parade.
