Santa Claus is coming to town!

I had a very bountiful Christmas! I must have been "good" all year because Santa was very generous! The Christmas giving began on Christmas Eve at my Mom's house. Her tree was beautiful. We all love admiring it and finding all the ornaments we made when we were small. I think she almost has enough ornaments to start another tree!

Our last day of school was Tuesday, December 22. We had a fun party and Santa stopped by, but not for long, he had to get his sleigh ready for all his deliveries.
All of the students are always so sweet, they give me the most wonderful gifts. Homemade cards and crafts, as well as many other wonderful treats. This year one of my student's grandmother made me this cute apron. I love it and can't wait to use it, you can check out more about our fun in Kindergarten on our class blog.
The gift I was most excited about was my new iMac!!! I am writing the blog from it right now! It's incredible! There are so many features, I've been watching the tutorials on the Apple website to learn all about it. I have been playing on it non-stop since Christmas, I may never leave my house again!!!
Another awesome gift I got was this wonderful picture of the Southern Miss baseball team's journey in Omaha. It is great and brought back all the wonderful memories of my trip to Omaha, the picture is signed by all the coaches and players from the 2009 team. It's hanging above my iMac, this is my new favorite spot in my house!

Each year Margie and I have our own little ornament swap. These are the beautiful ornaments I got this year. They are great additions to my black and gold tree.
I also received a "cricut". I haven't explored it completely yet (I can't seem to pry away from the iMac long enough!), but I know I am going to love it. I can cut appliques and all sorts of things. I am sure there are lots of crafty projects in the works.

My mom got me this really great bracelet, its called a Chamilia bracelet. It is a charm bracelet that comes in a variety of styles. I already have some wonderful charms and I'm looking forward to adding to the collection.

I obviously love baking, so this year I got a Kitchen Aid mixer and lots of cookie cutters, 101 to be exact! I've had the mixer on my list for a couple of years, now I'll be making cookies by the hundreds!!
My brother, Robert, is a freshman at PRCC. In the spring he'll be starting his first college baseball season. So we are switching to the maroon and gold for the spring (I'll be wearing mostly gold to support both my Golden Eagles and the PRCC Wildcats :). I made my mom a fleece stadium blanket, those baseball nights get pretty cold!

We had a wonderful Christmas. We are blessed to receive so much and to have a wonderful family, but most of all we are blessed to receive the greatest gift of all, Jesus!
