This week was "Teacher Appreciation Week", and my class really made me feel so special!!
Each morning I had a sweet smiling face greeting me with the sweetest cards and gifts.
This one came with the cutest poem - "Here is a bottle of lotion for all the success you set in motion". How creative!!
They were so proud of their gifts!
I have had a WONDERFUL school year and enjoyed all of these students so much. I wish the school year wasn't coming to an end so soon!
Most all of the students play sports or participate in extracurricular activities. I try to go to at least one event for each student throughout the school year. I have 16 of my 24 students playing baseball or softball, so throughout the spring I have been enjoying quite a few T-ball games.
But Saturday I got to enjoy a beautiful dance recital! All the girls did fantastic. It was fun to see students past and present perform.
And I can't finish this up without mentioning my great Mom. Today is Mother's Day and we have just finished a fun afternoon of visiting.
I have been greatly blessed with a kind, loving, and compassionate mother. She is one of a kind!
