Thanks, Santa!

Christmas came and went like a flash!  All that preparation and planning and just like that it's over...well until next year!

I had a wonderful Christmas, with a week long celebration, hopping around from one Christmas gathering to the next.

It began at my mom's house on Christmas Eve-Eve.  She has the most beautiful tree, it is full of ornaments that are special to our family.  My brother and I love pointing out "our ornaments".

We've had this ornament since I was very young.  Everyone knows that it has to be at the very tip-top of the tree, right beneath the star.  Of course, I have to have my ornament at the highest point, right?!

My great-grandmother hand-painted many of the ornaments, they have been passed down to my mom.

 Go Eagles!

From one of our many trips to the Mountains, I always liked pretending I was the "little indian girl".

 Cute, baby brother, Robert

 Santa crab

I started a Christopher Radko collection for my mom, this one is my favorite.

 Our hometown team, Geaux Saints!

Robert and I got this last summer when we were in Destin.

My first Christmas

My favorite baseball team, love the Rangers!

My grandmother hand-painted these church ornaments.

Robert loved this Belhaven print, he was showing us all the places he goes when he's at college.

Then Christmas Eve we went to my grandparent's house.  My Nana always has a beautiful tablescape for the holidays.

Nana loved her Mardi Gras platter.

Then we went to my dad's house to celebrate, we had a great time.  He prepared a great dinner and gave us awesome gifts.  He specifically requested not to be "facebooked" or "blogged"....ha!!

But here is a picture of his giant, Clark Griswold, tree!

 And the celebrating continued....with "FRIEND-MAS"!
Margie, Kristen and I met up and had a little Christmas of our own.  Fun times!

Margie loved her "Happy Everything" platter!

Kristen was SO excited to get this super cute Hobo wallet.
