I had a fun Valentine's Day, actually the celebration went on a couple of days! Valentine's is probably my favorite holiday (besides Christmas, of course)!
I first celebrated with my class! As an elementary student I LOVED Valentine's. Making all my friends special cards and then delivering them all was so much fun. And then opening my Valentine box and reading all my cards! PERFECT! Needless to say, I still share the same excitement as a teacher!
I have the best students, look at all the special gifts they gave me!
I baked many sweet treats for the holiday to share with everyone!
A couple of days after Valentine's, I hosted Pokeno. And I kept the theme of love! We all brought treats and cards to exchange! Everyone brought the cutest cards!
My favorite part, delivery!
I did a Tex-Mex style meal, my camera battery died in the middle of my food photo shoot! After the devastation wore off, I reverted to the iPhone camera. As you'll see in the pictures to come....
It is too close to Mardi Gras to not enjoy King Cake!
