This weekend Southern Miss played the Rice Owls at "The Rock"! It was beautiful weather and perfect for tailgating fun!
Southern Miss fans were out in black and gold to enjoy the day and get ready for the big game that night. India, Margie, Kristen and I hosted a fun tailgate, Southern Miss....TO THE TOP!
We had some very cute guest in attendance!
My favorite pre-game tradition is the "Eagle Walk". The Southern Miss cheerleaders, band, football players, coaches, and Seymour parade through campus before kick-off. The fans join together in cheers and songs to cheer the team to victory.

If you watched the game on TV, you may have notice a special someone in the press box announcing the game for CSS. Yes, former Golden Eagle, Brett Favre was on hand for the color commentary.
The Eagles beat the Rice Owls on a perfect night for football.
