This past weekend some college friends and I had a reunion of sorts. A few weeks ago we all met up at a friend's wedding shower and realized we had so much to catch up on and we should definitely make plans to have dinner. Well we all immediately whipped out our iPhones and Blackberrys and checked the calendar, and just like that the date was set.
We decided to call our group of college friends the "Golden Girls", because we were, of course, all Golden Eagles and great friends. Actually, Sally gives a fun run-down of the nights event on her blog.

We met in Jackson at a great restaurant, Julep. A few of the girls were MIA during our first "Golden Girl" dinner date. But we already have the next one planned, and we're looking forward to all the fun with all of us there!
It was a super fun night, it was like college all over again! I loved catching up with everyone! See you next time, Golden Girls!
In addition to the fun time with friends, the restaurant was great. There were so many great entrees on the menu, I had a hard time choosing one! Sally suggested the fried chicken, it was DELICIOUS! It was even selected as one of the top ten entrees in the nation by USA Today.

We all had a dessert buffet to finish the night, we ordered a dessert and taste-tested them all. Definitely a fun night with the girls!
