State Fair

A few weeks ago my brother and I went to the State Fair.  It was a little random but we enjoyed having fun, since he's at college I don't spend as much time with him, so the trip was fun for that reason alone!  Not to mentioned some of the fair goodies....

Fried oreos, sounds strange, but actually they aren't too bad.  It tastes sort of like a chocolate donut.

Well we started the night saying we were going to win one of those big stuffed animals.  I don't know whyI guess so we could give it to goodwill in a couple of months?!  Who knows, but we quickly discovered you would need to take out a small loan to win ones of those things!

Then there was the ticket fiasco!  Okay, anyone that knows me or my brother would probably not put he or I at a fair, again a little random.  Which probably explains this ticket situation.  Rob says that he wants to ride some rides, I'm thinking great, I love rides.  So I buy a generous number of tickets, then after checking out the tilt-a-whirl, Ferris wheel, some swinging contraption, he says he doesn't want to ride ANY rides!  What?!  Seriously?  Too bad, I've got eight million tickets and we're using them!

So he settled on going into the "House of Mirrors."  If you ever wanted to know what you looked like as a midget then you've found the place!

Or what about you with long legs?  Yep, the House of Mirrors is the place!

I did convince him to ride one roller coaster, if you can even call it that.  He was so scared he made me sit on the outside seat and was panicking the entire ride.  It was pretty funny!  This picture is before the ride started, he did not look like this afterwards!

The fair was nice, I'm not sure we'll be going again next year though! ha!
