"You Say It's Your Birthday...It's My Birthday Too, Yeah!"

I recently celebrated my birthday and was so blessed to have a great week long celebration with family and friends. I enjoyed many dinners, gifts, and lots of yummy cake! It was a great birthday!

The birthday celebration began with a cooking class at the Viking Cooking School. Kristen and Margie treated me to the class for my birthday and it was SO. MUCH. FUN!

Our class was the "Chicago Steakhouse." The menu was delicious and we were so full when we left!

As you can see, we had a blast!! Here is the rest of our class enjoying our well prepared dinner.

Here are pictures of all our courses. We got to keep a copy of all the recipes, so maybe I can recreate some of them at home! The apricot sauce for the scallops was great, it was my favorite dish. Yummy!

Here we are with our fearless Chef Matthew. We definitely kept the energy going throughout the class!

I enjoyed many fun dinners with friends, I didn't take pictures of every fun meal, but I did get our waiter to snap a shot of this fun time.

Last year for my birthday I got the canon rebel camera, which I absouletly love.

So this year my Dad gave me a new lens, it is super zoom! I'm sure that is the worst description ever, but I haven't a clue of the proper terminology for photography!

My mom took me on a shopping spree for my birthday. I got many great things and a new outfit as well. I got this super cute outfit and can't wait to wear it when it cools down a little.
