Mistletoe Madness!

It official! The Christmas season has begun!! Mistletoe Marketplace kicked off on Thursday and of course my Mom, Margie and I were there in full force. This is one of my favorite days of the year, it is so exciting to see ALL of the booths from around Mississippi and to see all the beautiful Christmas decorations.

For the last several years, Robert St. John has released a cookbook this time of year. This year's book was "My South." I got a copy for myself, as well as, a couple for gifts. Robert told us that he would be releasing a Christmas cookbook for next year, I can't wait for that one!

Another fun booth was the Kristian Alfonso jewelry booth. My mom spotted the "Days of Our Lives" star and we immediately went to meet her. She was very kind and had beautiful jewelry. I got these beautiful button earrings.

One of our traditions is to eat lots of sweets! I think that is a fabulous tradition! We enjoyed a sampling of strawberry cake, caramel cake, chocolate cake, shortbread, white chocolate, and chocoalte chip cookies...wow! We definitely had sugar overload.

It was a fun and successful shopping day. Found some really cute and unique gifts and I'm in "Christmas mode" now. Can't wait for next year!
