My 10 favorite things about fall:
10. Back to School!
Fall time is back to school time. Which means new school clothes, supplies, and new classes. This is always a fun time and exciting to start a new school year.
9. New Fall TV Shows!
Fall means all new episodes of my favorite shows! My DVR is definitely in full-recording mode during the fall.
8. Baseball's Red October
It's the end of the MLB regular season and the exciting playoffs, pennant races and the World Series all happen in the fall.
7. Candy Corn!
I love, love candy corn. Especially the harvest mix with the giant pumpkin candy!!
6. Cranberries
All the great fruits and vegetables of the fall harvest are ready, one of my favorites are the cranberries. I think I can eat cranberries on everything!
5. Cool Mornings and Crisp Weather
It's the best weather of the year! Pleasant days and cool nights.
4. Pumpkin Patch
Each year I get to take my Kindergarten class to the pumpkin patch. This is always a highlight of the school year, we get to go on a hay ride, go through a corn maze, and pick out our very own pumpkin from the pumpkin patch!!
3. Football and Tailgating
Football season kicks-off, great time with friends, great college rivalries and fun times tailgating.
2. Thanksgiving and Halloween
Fall is full of fun celebrations and time with family and friends. I love all the baking and cooking that comes with these fun times. It's a great season to be thankful for all the blessings God has given us!
1. Colors of the Fall
I love the beautiful colors of the fall, orange, red, and yellow!
Which pumpkin patch do you go to? We have been to the Mitchell Farm the last few years but I just saw a flyer for one in Poplarville.
